About Us

The Performance Physio Clinic was founded by Niall Burns in 2018 with the aim of bringing a first-class physiotherapy service to Co. Fermanagh.

Niall has over ten years’ experience as a Chartered physiotherapist. Having worked in both the NHS and private practice in the past and also in professional and amateur sports. Niall has also practised as a physio in New Zealand in private practice, gaining great experience in different treatment techniques.

Niall has completed a four-year physiotherapy degree at the Robert Gordon University and followed this up with a Master degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Ulster. Previously to this he completed a honours degree in Sports Science from the University of Bedfordshire.

Niall currently practices as an MSK specialist physiotherapy with the NHS and combines this with his work at the Performance Physio Clinic Enniskillen. Along with this Niall has a keen interest in keeping up to date with latest research advances within the profession.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Clinical specialist in the NHS.
• Experienced in working with both amateur and professional athletes.
• Has recently just completed a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine.
• Qualified in Joint injections.
• Extensive experience of working in both professional and semi-professional sports including Rugby, Soccer and GAA.
